Located in Crémines in the Grandval region, Robert & Schneider SA has its roots in the mechanical engineering tradition of the Moutier area. Founded by Edgar Morel, August Robert, and Armin Schneider, the company was officially established on April 1, 1946, under the name Robert, Morel & Cie, Sarl.
It quickly established itself in the fields of subcontracting, precision engineering, and later machine manufacturing. This expertise has enabled the firm to preserve the artisanal know-how born of the post-war industrial boom.
